We wish to notify clients that this firm no longer acts in Property Conveyancing cases of any kind. The type of work we no longer take on are property sales, purchases, transfers, first registrations, and mortgages.

Please be assured that our firm is NOT closing; we continue to provide legal services in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and certain probate cases for our clients – particularly local clients.
Our firm’s principal, Derek Adkins, who remains a fully qualified Solicitor (non-practising) offers his services under the auspices of the respected body, The Institute of Professional Willwriters:-  https://www.ipw.org.uk/

We trade as DRA Legal Ltd. For the protection of past and future client we hold professional indemnity insurance (PII) with cover of two million pounds (£2,000,000) per case. We’ll continue to trade from our high street premises at 138 Huddersfield Road, Mirfield WF14 8AN.

Any clients with current matters underway, or with important documents such as Wills and LPAs, & Deeds stored with us, can rest assured that all matters will be properly progressed and any documents we hold will continue to be securely and safely stored.
